Program: theory, case studies, practice
I would like to have more practice (80%) and less theory (20%) in the classes.
What will we do?
Various exercises, such as those that allow us to understand "what a journalist does."
Writing (various forms of news journalism and commentary)
Appearing on camera (press review, stand-up comedy)
Recording/audiovisuals (e.g., podcast)
(Note: the grade does not depend on the level of the presentation, but on your engagement.)
We will definitely pay a lot of attention to the interview - there will be guests coming to classes with whom we will talk.

Journalism today – in the age of the internet and social media – differs from the traditional forms that have prevailed for decades (traditional media). Therefore, we also analyze phenomena such as new forms of online journalism and the opportunities and threats to journalism today.

The final grade is based on engagement in class: completing numerous exercises that we undertake weekly. We discuss the exercises and discuss them together – a kind of debate takes place.
