5. Problems with current AI debates and philosophical assumptions behind AI
6. Philosophical shift of AI focus
7. Provably Beneficial AI: philosophical assumptions, objectives, benefits, possibilities
8. Future of AI – what is progress, what is superintelligence, what is transhumanism, what can go wrong
9. Summary and the review of main concepts discussed during the lecture.

A student will gain an understanding of current debates in AI technology.
A student will understand the concept of provably beneficial AI
A student will gain the concepts of foundational assumptions and methods in AI.
A student can explain the state of AI, its philosophical assumptions, its limitations and dangers (E_2)
A student will learn how to write and abstract for the conference, create presentation and present it to the audience.
A student will become aware of main philosophical problems of AI; he/she will be able to do the presentation on the selected topic of AI, he/she will be able to compose a short paper on the specific topic connected with the lecture.
Assessment criteria
A student must submit two abstracts on discussed topics - 300-500 words each.
A student must submit and present 10min presentation on a selected topic.
