Workshops PS-KRY-SM>Warszt-2
The workshops are an attempt to prepare students in the most practical way possible for real work as a social worker, crisis interventionist, or in other professions from the broadly understood area of social assistance. Since these are exercises, the most important element of the work will be discussing real cases, which, after necessary changes to personal data, will serve students to better understand the practical aspects and actual problems faced by a crisis intervention center employee. Particular emphasis will be placed on the aspect of violence, mourning, crises in relationships, as well as working with young people or people at risk of social exclusion.

Learning outcomes
The intended learning outcome is to gain the necessary knowledge about working in a crisis intervention center, but also practical insight into the methods of work of a crisis interventionist. In particular: understanding the importance of the trigger factor in the interventionist's work, learning about the practical application of legal methods of counteracting violence, analyzing one's own feelings about individual cases, searching for solution strategies for crisis intervention clients.
Assessment criteria
The condition for passing the workshops, due to their exercise nature, is the students' activity during the classes. Since at the end of the workshops one can only receive a pass or no pass, this is the most important assessment criterion. Students who do not participate in the discussion receive an appropriate number of cases to write, taking into account the principles presented by the instructor during the workshops. If the student's absence exceeds 20 percent of the total pool of workshop hours, they will receive an additional paper in the form of an essay, on a topic chosen by the instructor.
