Analysis of case studies concerning the formation and dissolution of marriages
Resolving issues related to parental authority and child support
Drafting prenuptial agreements and property division agreements
Analysis of case law in cross-border cases
Discussion of cases involving assisted reproduction and surrogacy
Preparation of legal opinions in family law matters

Learning outcomes

K_K05 Is prepared to think and act in an entrepreneurial and innovative manner.
Assessment criteria
Active participation in class and preparation for case studies – 30%
Two written case analyses / legal opinions – 40%
Presentation on a topic or final exam – 30%
To pass the course, students must earn a minimum of 60% of the total points.
