Concept, nature, and scope of family law
Marriage under Polish and canon law – prerequisites and forms of solemnization
Defects of declaration of intent in contracting marriage
Dissolution of marriage – divorce, separation, and annulment of canonical marriage
Matrimonial property relations between spouses
Parental authority – substance, exercise, limitation, and deprivation
Maintenance obligations (alimony)
Contact with the child, shared/alternating custody
Adoption
Guardianship and curatorship
Cross-border family law (Regulation 2019/1111)
Contemporary challenges in family law (civil partnerships, assisted reproduction, surrogacy, children's rights)
Protection of children's rights in family law – national and international standards

Active participation in lectures and discussions – 20%
Written colloquium or final test – 50%
