Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The doctoral student defines and characterizes theological methods in theory, and identifies them in theological texts from the second millennium of Christianity that he or she reads.
K_W01 Knows and understands the global scientific and creative achievements related to the disciplines in which education is provided at the doctoral school, as well as the resulting implications for practice. P8U_WG

K_W02 Knows and understands, to a degree sufficient to allow for a review of existing paradigms, the global achievements encompassing theoretical foundations, general issues, and selected specific issues, including the methodology of sciences relevant to the disciplines in which education is provided at the doctoral school, as well as the principles of higher education teaching. Skills
The doctoral student analyzes theological texts from a methodological perspective and applies the methods learned in the texts he or she edits. K_U01 Is able to analyze and creatively synthesize scientific and creative achievements in order to identify and solve research problems and those related to innovative and creative activities; create new elements of this achievement, including defining the purpose and subject of scientific research, formulating research hypotheses, creatively applying and developing research methods, techniques, and tools appropriate for the conducted research, and drawing conclusions based on research results. K_U02 Is able to independently plan their own development and inspire the development of others. P8S_UU
K_U04 Is able to use knowledge from various fields of science or art to creatively identify, formulate, and innovatively solve complex problems or perform research tasks, in particular: defining the purpose and subject of research, formulating a research hypothesis, developing research methods, techniques, and tools, and creatively applying them, drawing conclusions based on research results. Competencies (attitudes)
The doctoral student perceives the relationship between the theology being developed and the theological context. K_K01 Is ready to conduct independent research that expands existing scientific and creative achievements, to take on challenges in the professional and public spheres, taking into account their ethical dimensions and responsibility for their consequences, and to develop models of appropriate conduct in such situations. P8S_KK
K_K02 Is ready to critically evaluate the achievements of the scientific discipline pursued and to critically evaluate one's own contribution to the development of that discipline. P8S_KK
Assessment criteria
Five one-page essays written on a specific topic using a prescribed method.
All essays must be passed.
The sum of the grades for individual essays will contribute to the final result.
