St. Augustine's Approach to Rhetoric
Contemporary Rhetorical Issues (including digital challenges, new forms of communication, the integrity of the Christian message – the connection of speech with the entirety of ecclesial and spiritual life).
Rhetoric on the Synodal Path.

Learning outcomes
K_W01: Knows and understands the scientific and creative achievements related to the discipline in which education is conducted at the doctoral school, i.e., within the framework of a monographic lecture – knows and understands the theory of rhetoric and its connections with one's own discipline.
K_U02: Is able to independently inspire one's own development and the development of others through knowledge of rhetoric – the art of persuasion.
K_K03: Is ready to recognize the importance of rhetorical knowledge in solving cognitive and practical problems.
Assessment criteria
Oral exam in the summer session. This exam combines theoretical knowledge with an oral presentation of the student's own analysis of a text chosen by the student (2-3 A4 pages) focusing on rhetorical issues.
