Topics and Program:
The lecture is divided into the following thematic blocks, each containing one or more lecture units:
I. The Theological Thread in Tischner's Biography
II. Tischner as a Christian Apologist
III. Dimensions and Stages of the Relationship of Human Openness to God According to Tischner
IV. Tischner's Christian Anthropology
V. Tischner's Vision of the Human Person (Person, Dialogue, Drama)
VI. Tischner's Mariology and Christology
VII. The Triad of Fate – Grace – Freedom, or Tischner's Charitology
VIII. Tischner's General Critique of Thomism and the Problem of Ontologizing and the Program of Deontologizing Grace.
IX. Tischner's Libertology, or the Program of "Liberating Freedom."
X. The Trinity-Grace-Freedom Relationship as Perceived by Tischner.
XI. Tischner's eschatology, or the Christian experience of hope and the Christian understanding of the issue of death.

Learning outcomes
Knowledge:
1. The doctoral student knows the contemporary sources of theological thought and is able to identify interdisciplinary interdependencies between theological thought and various philosophical currents (K_W01).
2. The doctoral student knows the contribution of Tischner's reflections to the development of contemporary theological currents (K_W02).
3. The doctoral student knows the main issues concerning modern and contemporary scientific controversies within a wide range of dogmatic issues (K_W03).
4. The doctoral student recognizes the main existential problems related to the drama of the human person in their relationship with God (K_W05).
Skills:
1. The doctoral student is able to independently select and analyze information contained in both philosophical and theological publications concerning the theological aspects of Tischner's thought (K_U01). 2. The doctoral student formulates critical assessments of tendencies that limit Tischner's thought solely to the sphere of philosophical issues (K_U04).
3. The doctoral student is able to engage in discussion and conduct his own creative scholarly work on the contributions of contemporary interdisciplinary authors such as Tischner to the development of specific areas of the theological discipline (K_U06).
Competencies:
1. The doctoral student is able to independently, creatively, and critically develop his knowledge of the theological aspects of Tischner's thought and apply the research methods he proposed in his own research (K_K01).
2. The doctoral student is able to explain existential problems concerning the drama of the relationship between the human person and God (K_K05).
3. The doctoral student is able to conduct a conference, deliver a lecture, and write a scholarly article on the issues of interdisciplinarity and the interdependence between contemporary theological and philosophical thought, as exemplified by Tischner's work (K_K06).
Assessment criteria
Attendance at lectures is generally mandatory and is a necessary condition for admission to the exam. In special and justified cases, individual attendance arrangements can be made with the instructor. The final grade is based on the exam results.
