The following topics will be covered in this class:
Historical concepts of theology , nature of theology , sources of theology , development of dogmas , methods . Components of the nature of theology: object, language, dimensions and tasks. "Loci theologici": Scripture, Tradition, sense of faith, Magisterium. Methods of theology: dogmatic, historical, existential. Classification of theological sciences.
Specificity of theological cognition and its relation to other types of cognition; division of theological disciplines (and auxiliary disciplines); types, styles, schools in theology (historical overview).

and methodology of theology, giving the possibility to specialize in post-Master's education.

Assessment criteria
The final evaluation is the result of two factors:
1. Presentation of the chosen issue
2. The examination of the knowledge of the main content of the lectures.
