Confession T-KAP-SJ>spowie-10
In the sacrament of penance, a distinction is made between further matter, proximate matter and the actions of the confessor. The further matter is the sins of the penitent, the closer is his "elaboration" of the further matter (examination of conscience, repentance for sins, resolution to amend, sincere confession and satisfaction). The third section is the activities of the confessor. This semester focuses on sin, its definition, distinctions, problems with its perception, especially in the context of secularization of Western societies, and on the theological explanation of the role of sin in the history of salvation in the context of the saving work of Jesus Christ.
