Material Homiletics TWT-KAP-SJ>hommat-10

The content of the teaching is the basic sources of preaching and their skilful selection for the audience, as well as knowledge of homiletic models and the current teaching of the Church on the ministry of the word.
During the lectures, the basic sources of homilies and sermons are thoroughly discussed: the Holy Bible, the Lectionary, the liturgical year, Tradition, the Magisterium of the Church, as well as auxiliary materials such as information about the auditorium.

Learning outcomes

E_1. He knows the basic principles of interpreting the Holy Scriptures
E_2 Knows the basic homiletic models and the current teaching of the Church on the ministry of the word.
E_3. He can use the lectionary to prepare the liturgy of the word and homily
E_4. He is able to discuss the ministry of the word, taking into account contemporary challenges and express the current teaching of the Church on this subject

Assessment criteria

W_1. Continuous assessment of preparation for classes and active participation in discussions.
W_2. Semester work on a topic agreed with each student.
W_3. Oral exam at the end of classes in each semester

Practical placement

Carried on during other classes and with a different lecturer.
