Professional status:

The degree programme allows students to obtain a higher education in history and prepares specialists in both fields of general and regional history. In addition, classes in genealogy, historical journalism, the application of modern methods in popularising history or editing sources definitely predestine graduates for educational and promotional activities in the topic of historical and cultural heritage. Therefore, the knowledge and skills acquired in the course of study, including the so-called soft skills, enable flexible movement on the labor market, both in the field of history and cultural heritage (museums, libraries, archives, popular and scientific publishing) and in public spaces (cultural centres, local government offices).
