Modern and Contemporary Ethical Thought FIL-PER>modern-cw
Discuss the most important selected issues and ethical systems in modern and contemporary philosophy. An important goal of the course is to show the connections between more general philosophical trends and ethical trends. An additional goal is to teach students a basic analysis of the metaphysical, anthropological and epistemological assumptions on which the discussed ethical systems are based. The discussion will include not only theoretical issues, but also the practical translation of ethical issues into human life.
