Theological and philosophical aesthetics. Christian thought and philosophical reflection SzD-DF>Estteo
The discussion on the state of Christian thought includes the reflection of Hans Urs von Balthasar on German idealism. Balthasars thinking results from a concern for understanding the religious and intellectual image of the history of Europe and creates space for the proper perception of the tasks of philosophy itself. The connection of philosophical thought with the ideas of Christianity fascinated Balthasar from the very beginning of his work. He realized that maintaining mutual, dialectical relationships was a challenge for the whole philosophy. Reflections on German idealism are an introduction to Balthasar's method and structure of holistic thinking, including both his philosophical and theological work. They can also help in understanding the basic lines of development of his work, seen holistically in the theological aspect a priori, penetrating and strengthening his entire literary and philosophical thinking.
